About the Program:
The Wintonbury Branch offers Reading & Writing classes for adults.

The summer session will begin on July 7, 2010 (Wednesday), from 6-8:00 P.M. and continues every Monday and Wednesday evening through July 28.

Adults interested in joining the program are welcome to make a registration appointment by calling 860-233-3853.

The classes are designed and organized by Literacy Volunteers of Greater Hartford for adults who are at lower reading levels and are not yet comfortable in
the A.B.E. (Adult Basic Education) and G.E.D. (High school equivalency) classes offered through the Adult Education Department in Bloomfield.

The Wintonbury Branch is offering a safe place to prepare for these more rigorous programs. Registration is currently under way.

Please call
Miriam Lopez at
860-233-3853
to schedule a registration appointment.

For general information about this Wintonbury Branch program, please contact the Bloomfield librarians involved, either Laura Vasselle, 860-243-9721
