The Victory Over Diabetes workshop will
help people understand how diabetes
increase their risk for heart
attack and stroke. People with diabetes
tend to develop heart disease or have
strokes at an earlier age
than other people, and they run a
greater risk of having a second and/or
more serious heart attack or
stroke. Our workshop provides free
health screenings, primary care,
nutrition and physical activity
information and helps people get
motivated to start or continue making
healthy lifestyle choices.
