are members of local

Computer Instruction and
One-on-One Basic Computer Skills Help:
Prosser Public Library offers regularly scheduled
formal computer &
technology classes on a variety of subjects of interest
to our community.
All scheduled classes included in the
Computer Literacy Series
are listed
on the Coming Events for
Adults
page on this website. Beginners are
welcome in all of these classes. If you are brand new to
computers and
wish to learn basic skills that are not covered in our
formal classes, the
library also offers one-on-one basic computer skills
instruction. One-on-one
instruction can be scheduled with Mara
Whitman at 860-243-9721 or
marawhitman@hotmail.com.

Cooling &
Heating Centers:
Prosser Public Library and its Wintonbury Branch
have both been
designated "cooling and heating" centers for Town
residents during all hours
of regular operation. Please call either library for
more information.

Family Caregiver Support Group:
The Family Caregiver Support Group meets
the first Wednesday of each
month at 1:30 P.M. at the Bloomfield Senior Center with
Reference Librarian
Mara Whitman and Licensed Geriatric Clinical Social Worker Lucille Morisse.

Homebound Delivery:
Adults who are temporarily or permanently homebound
due to illness
or disability can have library materials delivered to
their front door.

Museum Passes:
Prosser Public Library has a large collection of
museum passes
that
can be charged out by patrons with a valid library
card.
We do not reserve museum passes. Museum passes are
available on
a first come, first served basis. You may obtain a
museum pass by
stopping at the Circulation Desk in the
Children's
Department.
Each pass circulates for 2 days. The daily
fine for
passes
returned late
will be $10.00. The patron will be charged the
replacement cost of a lost
pass. Please do not put passes
in the
Book Drop.

Notary Services:
Prosser Public Library and the Wintonbury Branch
Library both have
a notary available to notarize your documents. Please
call in advance,
if possible, to schedule an appointment. For Prosser
Library,

There is no charge for the notary service.

Business Help & Mentoring:

SCORE®
is a non-profit organization, partnering with the Small
Business Administration,
offering free, confidential counseling and mentoring to
small businesses and
non-profit organizations. Every week, the Prosser Public
Library will offer free,
one-hour face to face appointments with a SCORE®
counselor from the Greater Hartford SCORE® Chapter 56.
They will work with you on every aspect of business
planning, start-up, management and growth.
